Our Physicians

  • Dr. Kristjan Mytting MD,CCFP

Born and raised in Prince George I am happy to be back serving my home community. I am a grad of the Kamloops Family Medicine residency program in 2022. I completed my medical school through the UBC Northern Medical Program in 2020. I provide longitudinal family medicine with no obstetrics or emergency coverage.

Formerly I was a CASI level 3 snowboard coach and am hoping to get back out on our beautiful northern hills.

  • Dr. Chris Okebie, MD, CCFP

Originally from Nigeria in West Africa, I did my medical school training in University of Nigeria and the residency in University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town, South Africa. I have extensive wealth of comprehensive longitudinal family practice experience both in Nigeria and Namibia. I have been practicing in Canada since 2017, having worked in Valemount Health Center, and Lakes District Hospital and Health Center, with associated outreach services to Granisle community Health and Southside and Wellness Centers in BC. On my free time, I enjoy spending quality leisure moments with my wife and 3 children ,and also watching soccer and engaging in varied outdoor activities.

  • Dr. Denise Mcleod MD,CCFP

It is with mixed emotions we announce Dr. Denise Mcleod will be retiring from our practice this coming October with Dr. Okebie taking over her panel of patients. Dr. Mcleod has been providing superb patient care as a nurse initially in her early career and a GP after retraining. Her dedication to her patients and her deep compassion and empathy has distinguished her as an amazing clinician and care provider. The Prince George community has received an amazing grace and privilege in having her practice here, and she will be sorely missed.

Through her clinical practice and the numerous administrative and leadership roles she has taken on within the Prince George medical community she has demonstrated her dedication and passion for the field of medicine as both clinician and leader.

After retirement she will get to spend more time with her husband Rod, her 4 rambunctious dogs and her 4 wonderful grandchildren. She will still be providing some more limited care and medical services in the community. We thank her ever so much for all of her hard work and dedication over the years and wish her all the best in retirement.
